Fishing Report for Thursday
It's ironic that Neal Patrick, a 14 year old catfish fisherman caught this larger bass with the $650,000 Bass Master Elite tournament taken place on High Rock today and tomorrow. First place is $250,000, not to bad for a weekend of fishing. The endorsements that come from winning the tournament will generate even more income for the winning angler. One thing that peeves me about the tournament is the fact that they mention High Rock Lake as being in Greensboro, NC, which is 45 miles away from the lake. Lexington, where I live is the closest city, but since the weigh ins are held in the Greensboro Coliseum, they seem to always get the accolades. The tournament this year is in honor of "Bryan Kerchal", who tragically died in a plane crash, shortly after winning the "Bass Master Classic" on High Rock(the classic is equivalent to the Olympics in terms of fishing, it's the best of the best, from all over the United States.
