My Early Christmas is a Nexus 5, already working on Christmas 2014

My Early Christmas is a 32 GB Nexus 5. Any future "me" gifts will have to dip into Christmas 2014. I may have to break bad and get the Nexus 7 tablet again if it goes on sale Black Friday. I bought a Nexus 7 in August and was really impressed with it, however because of rebooting issues I decided to return it until Nexus solved them. No one commenting on the discussion board was sure if it was a hardware or software issue that was causing the problem. Nexus had been mute on the issue, so I continued to  follow the discussion board for a few weeks. In the last couple of weeks the complaints about the rebooting have seemed to have vanished. Now that the Nexus 7 looks good to go, I hope to buy 2 for Christmas.  It really is an awesome tablet. If the projected Black Friday price of $129 pans out I'll be fighting it out with crowd. I'm hoping I can snag it online for the same price. I had the 32 GB, but this time around I may opt for just the 16GB, since my main use for it will be reading.

Hopefully after  these purchases, I can focus on outdoor activities again.  I plan on kayaking again, fishing is a given with me always, doing more runkeeper activities(I love this app), nature photography and picking up golfing again(walking only). I've finally hit my stride on Walking again turning 12-12:30 minute miles. I'm still hoping to avoid mcl surgery. I strained knee moving trees while wading in the lake last year. Hopefully this weeks  walking activity is an indication that my pain is behind me. I was able to go up a slight incline without slowing and could go into turns at  a fast pace. I have sprinted some, just quarter mile stuff. I know it will take me a year to run a mile  an actual mile, even though I could now, it would do more damage than good.  I don't do any long distances, just enough to keep me in shape, fast mile or run one day, 2 miles on other days. This is really all I need, because I still do a lot of yard work for my parents, my sister and my own.  A man has got to have enough time to play and if you don't make time, you don't get time. I'm on the downhill side of life, so I'm trying to make the best of everything each day.
