It is easy to understand why Google paid 1 Billion Dollars for Waze. I recommend you download the app and use it. You will probably toss your gps away after using waze. It's definitely top of the line when it comes to up to the minute GPS navigation. Visit Google Play to download Waze for your smartphone. One can already tell Google Maps is riding the "Waze". There are feature in both apps I like. I know if I want traffic updates and knowing the location of Speed traps, Waze had it. Now if I want a satellite view of the terrain, there is none better than Google Maps!
