I found the acting in Jericho to be superb. Lennie James( aka Robert Hawkins in the Jericho series) is an excellent actor. Those who have followed "The Walking Dead" will recognize him as "Morgan" the man who saved "Rick". We saw Morgan again briefly in season 3 of The Walking Dead and hopefully we will see him again in Season 4. Because Lennie James is in such high demand, his role in "The Walking Dead" has been very limited. Gerald McRaney who plays "Johnston Green" I found to be very similar in character to "Hershel", who is one of my favorites characters in "The Walking Dead". A good series always need a voice of reason and in "The Walking Dead" those voices were Dale and Hershel.
Jericho most definitely get 5 stars in my review. I really can't believe I missed the show. After viewing the series talked I discussed it with my son, sharing my thoughts and how I couldn't believe it cancelled. His reply to me was "any show that requires thought today" usually doesn't make it. If only Jericho had added mindless Zombies, then perhaps they would have garnered the attention it deserved and lasted longer. The scenario in Jericho is very believable, especially in today's world. If you haven't seen the series, by all means take a few weeks to do so. There are 23 episodes in Season One and only 7 in Season 2 are available for viewing on Amazon. Fast forward to those who were cast in the series in 2006, you will be amazed to see the how famous some of them have become. Click here to see the full cast of characters, clicking the name of the actors will give you the complete bio of each. The cost of a Prime Membership is a bargain, when you factor in free videos and next day shipping.
I keep coming back to one of the featured songs "Mad World" by Gary Jules. This song was played at the end of Episode 17, Season 1. The lyrics have a somewhat haunting truth for today's world and the series you see. I have posted lyrics below the video you see here. The video you see is well done and you will really appreciate video a lot more after watching the series. There really isn't anything more important in this world than those you love.

All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow
And I find it kinda funny
I find it kinda sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very mad world, mad world
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow
And I find it kinda funny
I find it kinda sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very mad world, mad world
Children waiting for the day they feel good
Happy birthday, happy birthday
Made to feel the way that every child should
Sit and listen, sit and listen
Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me, no one knew me
Hello, teacher, tell me what's my lesson
Look right through me, look right through me
And I find it kinda funny
I find it kinda sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very mad world, mad world
Enlarge your world
Mad world
