My review of the movie "Fitzgerald Family Christmas"

There weren't any Christmas miracles so to speak, yet the story drew you into the family home. I'm sure there are people who can easily relate to the anger and frustrations expressed by at least one of the family members. I know for some of you, there may be several siblings you can identify with in this drama. The movie does an excellent job of bringing all the family's issues out in the story.  It really shows how splintered some families can be and yet still be close. Not everyone is blessed with having a perfect family and the Fitzgerald family certainly had their problems. The father's abandonment from 20 years ago certainly  left open wounds and scars. It seems like everyone was impacted in some form or another. Life certainly throws us a lot of curve balls and various members seem to have their own at Christmas, with a hum-zinger of a curve at Christmas. Still with all the scenarios going ons, the movie flowed very nicely. It was a great movie and I think I enjoyed it because it was not a typical Christmas story. The movie is more representative of what some of us deal with at Christmas. The Fitzgeralds are faced with the tough question "Can they find forgiveness long enough to come together this one time of year as a complete family again?"
