Blogging again feels great!
I've been an off and on again blogger over the years since "blog" became the word of the year in 2004. Curiosity got the best of me and since I was ashamed to admit in 2005 that I didn't know what the word meant, I was determined to find out. One thing led to another and then another and before long I started blogging. Since that time I have created and deleted various blog formats. I've tried numerous ones, however for some reason I still come back to blogger. I guess it's like an old friend, someone you never tire of seeing.
There have been a lot of changes for the good with blogger and me over the years. All for the good of course. I've returned to being the person who I was growing up. Living on the lake once again, I've been able to find the old me. I've even returned to playing and golf. You certainly can't beat playing golf at Lexington CC for $11 or $6 (after 6pm) if you walk. Hopefully I'll return to sailing soon. I'm even co-authoring a novel with a dear friend. Life for me couldn't be better. For that I am truly thankful. Returning to the roots that I love has given me a renewed outlook of life, which inspires me to write about it.
Fishing wise, the hot weather has pretty much put an end to my fishing. My son and continue to have great times fishing off our dock. It's hard to believe he will be started his second year in the fall. I know he is looking forward to return and especially working at the DNC in Charlotte.
Anyway I felt I needed to break up all my fuji posts some, so what better way to do it, than write about my return to blogging.
