I saw another amazing sunset tonight
Since I moved back to the lake. I try to fish for river monsters 30 minutes before every sunset. Just like fishing, some days are better than other. I don’t fish every day, but I try to fish a lot in the spring, no more than an hour each time. While I’m fishing, I see some of the most amazing sunsets. I always take a camera with me, so I can back up any large catch I land. Fish and fishing stories seem to grow once away from the water. Not wanting my fishing tales to fall in the same category of “tall fish tales”, I decided to take pictures of my large catches. I call this “proof of catch”. Seeing all these amazing sunsets, I decided to take pictures while waiting for my large fish to bite. There have actually been times, I’ve missed a large strike, because I was focused on a sunset shot. When you are 75 feet from your reel with camera in hand, chances are you will miss these river monsters. I caught a lot of crappies tonight, however no 20-40 pound fish. On the plus side, I caught one amazing sunset.
