I just had one of those bad days. I broke a crown which covers one of my front teeth. This is a tooth I chipped on a "pop gun", while running through the woods playing army , when I was 8 years old.
I was eating french fries tonight and bit into something that was hard. I looked at it and said hmm "someone left part of a tooth in my french fries". I got to thinking, could this be my tooth? I looked into the mirror and saw a diagonal piece of my crown missing. My heart really sank and so did my smile. This couldn't have happened at a more inopportune time. I have a busy day tomorrow. Now I have to schedule an emergency session with my Dentist. I have a home inspection at 8 am and closing around noon. It will be late afternoon before I get to the Dentist and I'm not sure if he will there. I know this incident will involve several trips to get me back to normal. Fortunately for me I'm not in any pain. I'm just a little down because I can't smile tomorrow and may not be able to for several days.
