Maybe we have caught all the big fish

I'm beginning to think so. We haven't caught any large fish in a couple of weeks now. Our definition of "large" is any fish over 15 lbs. The new Die Hard movie sequel comes out today "Live Free or Die Hard. NP and I have been wanting to see this, so we will probably opt for seeing it this evening, instead of fishing. I'm sure you can tell my blog is fading, just like our fishing. I can't seem to find anything funny to post in my cartoon and funny pic category. I have little to write about and when I start pitching horseshoes, I'm pretty bored. I need to start kayaking on the lake and I probably will soon. Here's a Picture from last night's sunset, but somehow it doesn't seem to be that great. I guess my "Wow" attitude" is waning also. Perhaps it's me, maybe I need to stop posting for awhile. I guess I need a great vacation, hopefully I will have one in a few weeks. A brief change of scenery at beach should do it, however I normally tire the beach after a week. I have the opportunity this summer to spend two consecutive weeks at one of my favorite places, Topsail Island. I will probably only stay one week. I guess it depends on NP and how much fun I'm having. The ocean is pretty, but it still can't compare to the beauty of the lake. I guess it's because of the the trees and old mountain ranges that surround the lake. Plus you can do a lot more things at the lake. You don't have to worry about jellyfish or sharks. You can take moonlight swims, go kayaking or sailing at night, without fear of getting lost or taken out to sea by a strong current. I love lake and the beach is a great place to visit from time to time. I would never care to live there, where I live is very pretty and just close enough to several nice cities !
