Smile Box- This is something new to play with

I'm always trying new things and this is a slideshow tool I thought I would try. I'm not sure if I will use it, but it looked pretty cool, enough so that I downloaded it. I opted for the free slideshow version here, there is a premium version without ads.

Film Loop Maker another slideshow maker I use, which you have seen on my recent post, is much easier to use, it just lacks sound, the great thing is that there are no ads.

Slideshow Maker , my favorite, is great slideshow maker. which you can have sound with it. It's free too, however there is an ad at the end of the loop, which is not that noticeble, unlike smilebox. The only problem with Slideshow maker is that it plays a continuous loop when posted to blog. That means if you add sound that would also be playing. That's only negative I see with it.

Smilebox is smilar to the other slideshow makers, but Smilebox let's you create cards, scrapbooks and slideshow, so it is different. Unlike the other slideshow makers there appears a lot of cost. A monthly fee or per slideshow fee. I guess you can already tell by this post that Im not exactly thrilled with what I see. Maybe it will improve. The first thing would be to do away with opening a large ad at the beginning of the slideshow. It would be much better is the ad was placed at the end, similar to the way it is in Slideshow Maker.

Right Now if I didn't want to have an advertisement showing on my slide show, I would opt for "Flip Track". It's Free and does a great job of sync your pics to the music. There are pluses and minuses to each of thes programs. You can't add your own music to Flip Track(still they have a good selection of music, plus it's synched to your slides), You can add personal songs to Slideshow Maker and Smilebox. Filmloop has no sound options. I will probably continue using each in some form. It's like photo editing programs, each has something different to offer, that is ideal for what you wish to do. The same goes with blogs. This is why I'm writing this post, so you can decide for yourself, what will work best for you or if you are like me, use them all.

You can send any of the projects for free with an ad or buy a given template for $1.99 and then you own it and can send it as many times as you want. You can also add personal music and video to your shows which others don't enable.
