My father has an obsession with catching squirrels

Anything having to do with squirrels attracts my attention. I guess it's because of my father's obsession with them. Anything we see that has to do with a squirrel has become sort of a running joke in our family. You might scratch your head and wonder why I post these silly pics with squirrels, but it's all about having a little family fun . It's an inside joke, so unless you are privy to the meaning behind it, I'm sure it appears to be stupid and sophomoric .
I guess the mass immigration problems is not limited to people. Perhaps these squirrels are coming from Mexico too. Dad traps the squirrels humanely and then he relocates them to another area of the county. The squirrels are over populating so fast that I feel he's fighting a losing battle(this sounds like our immigration problem). I believe the large number squirrels in our area has increased ten fold. Perhaps someone like my dad is relocating them to our area. Relocating squirrels is a never ending cycle. Dad does same with the squirrels he catches at the lake. I just know that there is a heavy concentration of squirrels out near the Lexington Airport. I do believe the squirrels are winning the battle and slowly taking over.
I loved the idea in the picture above and had to laugh when I saw it. "Back in the day" folks in South used to eat these thing, but I'm afraid not anymore. Maybe it's time they "step up to the plate again". I'm sure this would help solve the problem. There are no natural predators to keep their population in check, other than people like my dad. This is why I was getting a chuckle out of any funny pictures having to do with squirrels. I love my dad and I'm lucky to have such a good father.
