This was NP's Largest catch to date. The giant Flathead weighed in at 42lbs and took over 30 minutes to land. Except for the netting, NP handle it all on his own. My son really enjoyed the moment because most of our family and several friends got to witness this awesome catch. After a brief photo session we released the fish back safely. This giant Flathead Cat is now the legend and benchmark we compare other large fish against. This wonderful moment will live in our hearts and minds for a long time. The only way to make it diminish is to catch an even larger one. I doubt if we will ever be lucky enough to have the audience we had this day.
